Day 11: Praying for the Revelation of Jesus in Educational Leaders

PREMISE

Our heavenly Father delights in revealing Himself to His creation. He does this innumerable ways. He desires relationship with His creation. Part of our role in that glorious relationship is to tell Him what He tells us to tell Him. That is the simplest definition of intercession. It always starts with Him. Let's ask Him to release the revelation of Jesus Christ to the leaders of our education system in this land.

The Holy Spirit delights in revealing the Son to His creation. Here are some references to monumental moments of revelation in the Scriptures:

  1. Paul walked by faith confident in his identity in Christ and calling by Christ, because of the revelation from Christ (Galatians 1:11-12).

  2. Peter declared to Jesus, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God" and Jesus affirmed that the Father in heaven revealed that truth to Peter (Matthew 16:15-17).

  3. Paul wrote to the Ephesians, "I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation , that you may know him better" (1:17).

  4. The angel said to Daniel, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before you God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them" (Daniel 10:12).

PROMISES

Here are some encouraging promises to turn into prayers and declarations for educational leaders:

"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know" (Jeremiah 33:3).

"The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them" (Psalm 25:14).

"But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come" (John 16:13).

"However, as it is written: 'What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived' - the things God has prepared for those who love him - these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God" (1 Corinthians 2:9-10).

PERSONAL

Cry out to God today. Ask Him for a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you can know Jesus more. Ask Holy Spirit to search your heart and to reveal any area of your soul that needs to be realigned with the Word of God. Humble yourself before your Creator and ask Him to speak directly to your heart of His love for you. Sit and wait. Ask Him again. Write down anything that He reveals to you.

PRAYER

Praise God for His mercy. Thank Him for His goodness. Praise Him for his brilliance, wisdom, joy, love, and story. Ask Him to release a spirit of wisdom and revelation over the educational leaders in this land so that they will all come to know and love Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. Ask the Father to release His ministering spirits of fire (angels) to help educators. Declare victory over this land in the Name and by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is King.
